Bridal Party Gifts

We have some awesome ideas that you can use for bridal party gifts.  Depending on the person and your budget, you could go small with an ornament or table dome, medium sized with a wall dome or jewelry box, or large size with a shadow box.  We've pictured some examples below.

I Want to Preserve My Flowers, But...

I don't really want my bouquet on my wall!

We know your bouquet was beautiful.  But maybe a bouquet on your wall is just not to your liking.  But why not use your flowers in another creative way?  Nobody made a rule that says your bouquet has to STAY looking like a bouquet!

Take a look at some of the alternatives.

Here you can see Tammy and Kurtis in an absolutely beautiful photograph, that just happens to be nestled in a bed of flowers from Tammy's originally hand-tied bouquet.  The beautifully framed 11" x 17" photograph is the star of the show... with the pink roses and stephanotis as the co-stars!

We could provide the same effect (which uses the photograph as the background) in a rectangular domed frame, or as the back of a shadowbox.

A similar look is found in the frame to the left.  However, the photo is BEHIND an oval-shaped cutout in the mat.

Shari's original bouquet was tear-drop shaped using a bouquet holder.  Using her flowers and greenery, but totally rearranging them, the various shapes and heights of the flowers merge beautifully into  the rocky shore at the bottom of the photograph.

Cassie knew from the beginning that she didn't want her flowers to be in their original bouquet shape.  In fact, she brought in extra flowers from her table decorations to make sure we could arrange them into the groups you see here.

After sketching the original idea with Cassie during her consultation, we emailed progress prototypes until she was totally pleased!

We invite you to visit our website to see other creative ways to display your beautifuly preserved flowers!

Ten Reasons to Preserve Just ONE Flower

Aside from the obvious monetary difference involved in preserving a full bouquet vs. a single flower, we came up with some very logical reasons for preserving just ONE special bloom:

1.  He always gives you the same color single rose...

2.  The bouquet from last week was beautiful, but there is one flower that is still amazingly alive...

3.  You live in a small space, and can't hang a large display...

4.  You want a memory of your wedding to bring out each anniversary...

5.  Someone you love is no longer with you, and you kept one flower from the funeral...

6.  You want to start a tradition of keeping one of the flowers you received when you had your first child (and the next one)...

7.  You want to send your mother a gift that will daily remind her of you...

8.  You want a reminder to keep on your desk at work...

9.  Your daughter just finished her first recital, and you gave her flowers...

10.  You just found the most beautiful rose in your garden (or on your walk...)

We can think of more reasons...can you?

Floral Preservation CAN be affordable!

We just completed floral preservation projects for two different brides.  In each case we were asked to preserve only a handful of flowers.

Jackie's table dome
Jackie's bouquet was a beautiful combination of yellow roses, yellow gerbera daisies, white daisies, and pale yellow miniature roses.  By combining one perfect yellow rose, a large yellow gerbera daisy, a couple of white daisies, and a small rose, along with a photo, a crystal shoe from her bridal shower, and some ribbon, a unique keepsake was created that is truly one-of-a-kind.

Kristina's Ornament
Kristina brought her flowers back from a California wedding.  Her purple calla lilies, orchids, and astralmerias were lovingly arranged with some bear grass loops and ribbon into an ornament that will grace her apartment.

Whether the finished product is big or small, we make sure it's the perfect piece to show off your dream wedding.  So don't let "budget" become an issue.  You can trust us to keep your wedding dreams alive!

Shadow Box Completed

We finished up the shadow box for Melinda and Jared Royce.  It was a large 16 x 20" with a "mocha" finish.

Melinda and Jared chose to add some of their wedding decorations and favors, along with three favorite photographs which were backed with a matching color pallette.  And of course the bouquet and boutonniere, which had been "Suspended In Time(r)", are the stars of the show!

We made sure to send several progress photos back and forth, so the finished product would be to their liking.

Jared picked up the shadow box today, and is sure that Melinda will love it!

Wall Dome or Table Dome?

Two of our recently completed projects each had its own kind of  "dome".

Table domes sit on a table and have a blown glass dome that fits on top of a base.  Most brides prefer to include only a bouquet, but sometimes, as with Charity's dome show here, other items are included with the encasement.  We work with each customer to make sure the final product is what they were envisioning.  In Charity's case, several prototypes were emailed back and forth before a final configuration was chosen.

Wall domes consist of a frame with a UV protected Acrilic bubble surrounding the flowers and other items.  The majority of brides chose an oval shape, but they are also available in rectangle, heart, circle, and cathedral shapes.  Toni chose to include the engraved pen that had been used to sign the guest book, as well as two black and white photos in her 11" x 17" frame.  She and her husband brought in the photos and pen after the flowers had been arrange.  The design was then styled and completed.

Other items that are often included in larger frames are garters, invitations, cake toppers, cake servers, hankies, tiaras, and favors.  There are never any additional charges for inclusion of extra items when using our services.

Winter Wonderful

We love the holiday season in the Pacific Northwest!  Our tree is up, the lights are hung.  Holiday music is playing on the radio.  Every once in a while we get just enough white snow to make everything feel like peace on earth.
It's also the best time of year to preserve memories of your Winter wedding.  Flowers available in the winter months preserve beautifully.   Our customer base tends to be lower than during the heavy summer wedding season, so turn-around of your final product can be made within weeks rather than months.

The Suspended-In-Time techniques used facilitate this faster process.  The flowers from your beautiful bouquet are dried in 3-8 days from the time they are brought in to us.   We seal them into an encasement of your choice with any other precious items that you want kept as a quality heirloom.  Our pricing is all-inclusive.  There are no extra charges for including photos or precious keepsakes.

Cute Display

Young's Flowers in Enumclaw asked us to bring them a display.  We created this one out of a variety of dried flowers that we had on hand.  There is a little bit of everthing in this 5 x 7 table dome:  Callas, roses, carnations, status, larkspur, and a couple of orchids.  As these are commonly used flowers in bridal bouquets, customers will be able to get an idea of how beautiful the dried flowers are.  We try to let local florists know that we offer this service, and we are always happy to equip them with a display!
